Renovated to its glorious present state — the Powell House is one of the most beautiful & interesting structures in historic downtown Nevada City, California. Having fallen in to disrepair over the years it was rescued by the present owners and is now a renovated house full of modern conveniences, and energy efficient.
The two front doors on South Pine Street are of original construction and the stained glass throughout are excellent reproductions of the unique windows — every care was taken to create a building that preserved & replicated the feel of the Gold Rush era.
